It was 2021 where the entire world was slowly getting back to the normal after the pandemic. Sandyford Cricket Club has always been very ambitious for new talent and 2021 saw a big leap in the number of registrations. The number of registrations is as important as retaining the number and the talent respectfully. The numbers gave a big boost to the club going in to the season and beyond. It became very important to identify the right talent to take the club forward with an aspiration of adding more teams. In a quest for leadership and hidden talent, Sandyford Cricket Club started *Challengers Trophy* thereby creating opportunities for the members to show their talent. Club members were asked to volunteer for Captaincy and this also created a path for everyone to play themselves in a different role during the matches that were held as part of Challengers Trophy. The hunt for Captains was on and it was highly appreciated and anticipated by the club.
